Much to my surprise I have found myself venturing into a new genre of sculpting.
Here is where you will find my artwork to be quite differant than my usual. You will
not find the pretty fairies, sweet babies, or tiny elves here. These are my fantasy sculptures
for those that like the eerie, goulish, dark, and perhaps ugly. As I step into this realm,
I will be easing into this art form - mostly so as not to shock myself LOL. I am not one that has ever
been drawn to horror, gorey movies, or disturbing images. Therefore, you will not find that type of
artwork here. However, I do plan to include some creepy body parts with minor artistc work
that may show blood. At this point in time, my plan is to create pieces that will be spooky and creepy but
still cute and endearing for all collectors to enjoy. I find this type of artwork can be appreciated year
round and obviously during the holiday of Halloween.
So for all those that enjoy this type of theme and genre, you may be interested in my upcoming pieces! It is my
desire that this area of sculpting broadens my versality and skills in sculpting many differant types of
life-like and fantasy sculptures. I also feel it will allow me to explore a whole new variety of facial expressions,
poses, displays, and exciting new costuming possibilities.
As an artist I feel it is important to always challenge myself and try new things. The experience gained from these type of
sculptures can only make me a better artist.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my new artwork!
